FunnyorDie.com is a social comedy website concept created by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay’s production company Gary Sanchez Productions. If you haven’t visited the site, it needs to happen! Hilarious! The concept is that most content is user generated and voted on by the other user community. Funny or Die has a large number of sketches with involve famous cameos by people like (James Franco, Natalie Portman). The site has had much success and has come up with an unthinkable concept to combine web and tv!
“In a world where the Internet is just a ball of wires….” this Funny or Die Presents trailer which is premiering in Feb on HBO is poised to not let the FOB fans down. They have got together some of the sharpest writers, actors and comedians in the business to have free rein to achieve what we have all been waiting for out of an HBO comedy series.
Not only has FoD gathered an amazing array of talent to perform and write for the series (Rob Huebel, Wayne Newton, Paul Scheer, Zach Galifianakis, Fred Willard, etc) but they are bringing our favorite Web series of all time to TV: Drunk History, in which comedians get boozy and explain how America came to be.
