White told the issue of his mom taking his gold medal to the cleaners in his interview with the interviewer on NBC. It was very cool! He questioned his mother if there was a way they could get the ribbon clean as it had gotten very dirty and his mother took the medal to the cleaners! He was astonished when she brought it back with a dry cleaning bag on top of it. White also found it was funny that she complained about how much money it cost to clean it.
